Aden, SPA — The Masam project, launched by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to clear Yemeni lands of mines, cleared in the last week of May 849 mines laid by the Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen. These included 16 anti-personnel mines and 124 anti-tank mines; also cleared were 708 unexploded items of ordnance and one explosive device.
The Masam team also disposed of 1,316 naval mines in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
KSrelief will continue to clear Yemeni lands of mines through Masam project, helping the Yemeni people to live a safer life.
